Blue, an AI App Platform

This post is about one of Sola’s products.

In April 2026 we released Blue, an AI app platform where apps and websites built by AI can be deployed (published) directly by the AI itself.

When we first designed Blue, the “AI” we had in mind was an AI agent such as Codex or Claude Code. But when we listened to early users, many of them said they would rather build from the browser, so we quickly added a feature called AI Build.

If you have built an app with an AI agent like Codex or Claude Code, you probably know this already: building with an AI agent and building through a chat app or an API such as ChatGPT or Claude are two very different things. A chat or an API gives you one answer to one request and stops there. An agent writes the program, tests it, looks at the errors, fixes them, and repeats that cycle on its own. That difference shows up directly in the quality of the app.

Because of that, the early days of AI Build were rough, with plenty of quality problems and errors to deal with. We kept improving it, and today you can build a website or a simple game from the browser with AI Build. There is still a gap in quality compared with an app built by an AI agent, though. If you want an app with real features and care put into it, I recommend building it with an AI agent and deploying it to Blue. Manual and API deployments are done from the Blue console, and the steps for automated deployment are on the AI Ready page.

What makes Blue different is that it is not just for homepages. Websites with real functionality, like games and apps, run on Blue. So if there is an app or a website you want to make, build it with an AI agent and deploy it.
Note: even the free plan can run apps with working features.

The Blue showcase has a number of live, working apps. Have a look.
